About Us

Our story began in January 2001 in Elkhart, Indiana, with the vision of Thomas Moleski and Floyd “Lacey” Lowery. What started as a response to the need for more cost-effective ambulance manufacturing has since transformed into a commitment to delivering the highest performance value in the industry. Our ambulances are designed to ensure the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency that every first responder deserves.

With 134,000 square feet of production facilities, we house modular production, paint, R&D, specialized projects, and Type II production capabilities. Our adaptable manufacturing model is versatile and scalable to meet the growing demand for Medix’s performance value.

What makes Medix different from other ambulance manufacturers?

Our dedication to honor, quality, and relationship-building at Medix sets us apart from other ambulance manufacturers. We prioritize serving emergency service professionals and their communities with high-value products infused with a personal touch. What makes us truly different is our unwavering commitment to quality, speed, and repeatable manufacturing processes, all while maintaining economical pricing for our customers.

Unlike other manufacturers, we don’t just sell ambulances; we strive to build long-term relationships based on trust and mutual respect. Every product that rolls off our line is a source of pride for us, and we extend that sense of honor to our customers. We stand out in the industry as a company and as a community of dedicated professionals who are deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of those who serve others. In addition, our highly invested dealers support our mission through their local sales and service.

Our high-value ambulances differentiate themselves from other ambulance manufacturers with their simple yet full-featured electrical systems, vacuum bonding wall and frame with insulation and soundproofing, and one-piece aluminum door, among other features. We take pride in delivering consistent, dependable production and well-designed ambulances with exemplary value.
