May 12, 2026 – Elkhart, Indiana: Medix Ambulances, a leader in dependable ambulance manufacturing, is taking a new approach to EMS Week, celebrated May 17-23, 2026, with daily giveaways designed to give back to even more first responders. This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” highlights the shared responsibility of advancing patient care and supporting the people behind it.
Recognized nationwide and coordinated by leading organizations in emergency care, EMS Week is dedicated to honoring the commitment, skill, and impact of EMS professionals who serve on the front lines every day. It’s a time to reflect on the role EMS plays in the healthcare system—from rapid response and lifesaving interventions to providing comfort and reassurance during some of life’s most critical moments. These efforts help improve outcomes not just in the field, but for families and communities long after the call is over.
To support this year’s theme, Medix hopes to reach more first responders with a refreshed giveback initiative. From Monday through Friday, Medix will post a daily poll question tied to EMS Week’s daily themes. Participants can enter by commenting on the original post, with one winner randomly selected each day to receive a $100 Amazon gift card. Winners will be drawn and announced the following day.
